We are recruiting on behalf of a client in the fashion and textile sector for the position of Clothing Technician. The client specializes in women’s clothing (woven fabrics) and is looking for a skilled professional to provide technical support throughout product development and production.
Position Overview:
The Clothing Technician will provide technical advice and support to both internal teams and external production facilities, ensuring adherence to manufacturing methods, quality standards, and processes. This role requires strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and support to internal teams during product development and production.
- Assist external production facilities with manufacturing methods and quality standards.
- Familiarize and enforce production processes, procedures, and quality standards.
- Support new and ongoing development of manufacturing topics, including processing and fit control.
- Maintain and manage the REFA system to track production metrics accurately.
- Act as a communication link between internal teams and external partners to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to established quality standards across all product groups.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to product development and production.

Required Profile:
- Vocational training degree in Clothing Technology or Textile-related field.
- Several years of professional experience working with clothing suppliers.
- Practical experience in methodology, quality management, and production processes.
- Willingness to travel for production visits or training.
- Confident and competent user of MS Office.
- Very good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with REFA system is mandatory.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in clothing technology within the fashion/textile sector.
