CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE REQUIREMENTS Before applying, you MUST have: - Stable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps) – this is non-negotiable - Reliable power supply or backup generator – consistent electricity is essential - Backup internet solution (mobile hotspot/alternative ISP) for emergencies These requirements are mandatory as our operations depend on real-time communication and content management. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist who can drive growth across all our social media platforms and manage our digital presence from Lagos. You will be responsible for building and scaling our online community, creating engaging content strategies, and growing our accounts across multiple platforms simultaneously. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube - Manage and grow multiple social media accounts simultaneously with proven growth tactics - Create, schedule, and optimize content calendars for maximum engagement - Monitor trends and adapt strategies to capitalize on viral opportunities - Engage with our community through comments, DMs, and user-generated content - Analyze metrics and provide weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable insights - Collaborate with the team in Canada during core hours and independently beyond - Manage paid social advertising campaigns and optimize ROI - Stay current with platform algorithm changes and best practices Required Qualifications Must-Have: - Portfolio of social media accounts you’ve personally managed (provide handles, growth metrics, and before/after analytics) - Proven track record of growing social media accounts organically and through paid strategies - Deep understanding of all major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices - Expert-level content creation and copywriting skills - Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Later, etc.) - Strong analytics skills with experience in Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines Strong Plus: - Experience managing accounts for businesses operating in international markets (particularly North America) - Track record of building and managing accounts for Canadian or US-based companies - Experience in the hospitality, events, or creative/entertainment industry - Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) - Video editing capabilities (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) - Experience with influencer outreach and partnership management Work Schedule & Commitment - Core Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM WAT) - Extended Availability: Must be flexible to work beyond core hours when campaigns require it - Weekend Work: Occasional weekend availability required for time-sensitive content, events, or campaign launches - Response Time: Must be responsive and available on communication channels during working hours This role requires dedication and the ability to commit to our business needs, which may extend beyond standard hours during peak periods.
