Introduction to the position
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group CFO to join our executive team. The CFO will lead financial strategy, ensure robust cash flow management, support investor relations, and provide strategic input on regional expansions and fundraising. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader with a track record in start ups, especially in Africa.
Your role
- Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across multiple geographies- Lead and optimize cash flow management and treasury functions- Shape financial strategy to support GoCab's ambitious global expansion- Manage investor relations and lead due diligence for fundraising rounds- Implement scalable financial systems and controls- Provide data-driven insights to guide executive decision-making- Collaborate closely with the CEO and regional MDs on performance and risk
Your qualifications
- Experience : * Proven experience as CFO or senior finance executive in fast-growing start-ups, preferably in African markets- Industry Knowledge : * Experience in mobility, logistics, or fintech sectors preferred- Skills : * Strong cash flow and capital structure management* Experience with strategic thinking- Qualifications : * CPA , CFA , or MBA preferred. Fluent in English and French(Arabic / Spanish is a plus)
