LEGAL INTERN N&WA We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, responsible, and well-organized Legal Intern to join our Casablanca office. The Legal Intern will support the Legal Manager for Northern & Western Africa (N&WA) and work closely with various functions, markets, and departments across the cluster. What you will be doing: - Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments across the N&WA markets. - Conduct comprehensive legal research on statutory, contractual, and policy-related matters in accordance with JTI’s internal frameworks. - Support the preparation, review, and drafting of commercial agreements, legal correspondence, and internal documentation. - Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams and local market representatives to address ongoing legal issues. - Assist in managing contractual workflows and maintaining accurate records of agreements. - Contribute to the preparation of internal policies, compliance guidelines, and training materials. - Prepare concise legal summaries, reports, and presentations for management and cluster meetings. - Provide general administrative support to the Legal Team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in law (Master’s degree or ongoing postgraduate studies preferred). - Fluency in French, English, and Arabic (spoken and written). - Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills. - Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. - Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently. - Demonstrated interest in international business law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. - Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm to learn in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.
