Marketing Internship – Green Economy Financing Programme Support
The Opportunity
To support a leading green economy financing program in Morocco, we are seeking a talented senior-level student for a paid marketing internship.
The internship is based in Casablanca and will focus on:
- Marketing and communication
- Design and digital content
- Event organization
This position is ideal for a student in marketing, communication, or digital media (or similar fields with minor or confirmed interest and skills in these areas) with:
- Strong design skills (experience with tools like CANVA and Adobe Illustrator is required)
- Interest in marketing roles in the financial sector or related to the green economy/renewable energy
- Comfort and attentiveness in using AI tools to support work (checking for errors is important)
The internship requires openness to learning, creativity, flexibility, and a willingness to quickly engage in a dynamic and multilingual environment.
Position Focus: Marketing and Communication Support
The intern will provide support to the Programme’s lead marketing staff in helping them on the:
- Delivery of high-quality marketing materials
- Management and updating of the programme’s digital channels (website)
- Development of success stories and case studies
- Organization of events
- Support for programme communication and visibility needs
This internship involves support to the team and gives a strong exposure to leading financial and corporate institutions and the programme management team.
Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Programme Management Team, especially the Marketing Lead, the intern will contribute to the following, and have opportunity to develop professional skills in:
1. Marketing, Communication, & Content
- Assist in updating and creating marketing and communication materials: brochures, flyers, presentations, infographics, videos, and social media visuals.
- Assist in drafting content for success stories and promotional videos.
- Support the preparation of communication packages, such as pitch materials, for financial institutions.
2. Design & Creative Production
- Produce graphic assets using CANVA and Adobe Illustrator or equivalent tools (experience with such tools required).
- Develop templates and graphic assets for events, presentations, and outreach.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Firefly, Midjourney) to enhance content and streamline design workflows, learning application in a professional context.
3. Digital Marketing & Website Management
- Support content updates on the Green Economy Financing websites, including news and success stories.
- Support the coordination of digital communication across channels, as needed.
4. Event Organization
- Assist in the development and delivery of the Programme’s public events.
- Support logistics, agenda preparation, invitations, and communication materials.
- Attend events and provide on-site coordination when required.
Qualifications
Education
- Student at either the Bachelor’s or Master’s level in: Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, or a related field – or have supporting coursework and skills.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CANVA or Adobe Illustrator or a similar relevant application.
- Understanding of website content management.
- Familiarity or strong interest in AI tools for design and content creation.
- Good writing and editing skills (French is mandatory; English is desirable).
- Desire to learn quickly and work with multiple digital tools.
Language Skills
- Fluent French (written and spoken).
- Professional English (comfortable with reading/writing, interest in exposure to English language workplace).

Work Location
The position is based in Casablanca, currently in the Gauthier area, with occasional travel for events or workshops.
