Poste :

• Improve existing purchasing processes, create and define missing related purchasing processes with the aim to reduce costs and improve customer service.
• Issue POs for spare parts, special equipment / machinery etc. and monitor delivery of purchased products and services until the ordered goods reach the plants (communicating with customs, banks, custom release etc.).
• Prepare and execute supply agreements, which will protect the Company against missed deliveries, shortages, outages, poor material quality etc.
• Maintain vendor network to support the planned production volume and develop new sources of supply to offer lower cost alternatives. Monitor market conditions and communicate potential changes that could affect costs and/or schedules.
• Conduct ongoing communication, and negotiation, with established vendors and new vendors.
Closely collaborate with all relevant departments (Operations, Import, Finance etc.) and Corporate Purchasing to meet plant metrics and goals
 


Profil recherché :

• University degree in Business or equivalent.
• High Proficiency in Arabic & English language is a must; German is a plus.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office & ERP Systems.
• A strong understanding of business law, country regulations for import, raw material sourcing, procurement of technical parts, and outstanding negotiation skills.
• Ability to organize diverse information, analyze and solve disputes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with people inside and outside the organization are required.
• Strong understanding of factors that influence manufacturing, cost and quality of operations is preferred.
