Propose and develop connection solutions that meet customer requirements.
Ensure design feasibility considering customer know-how, tooling, and manufacturing constraints.
Create and supervise CAD models, detailed and assembly drawings.
Prepare and manage complete technical documentation and schematics.
Comply with TE procedures and customer specifications throughout development.
Define product specifications to ensure required performance and quality.
Support product qualification, including metrology analysis and test follow-up.

Lead “Design to Cost” and “Design Reuse” initiatives.
Support TERP success by delivering optimized technical solutions.
Submit innovations for patent protection; ensure IP is secured and disclosed only under NDA.
Deliver designs within agreed project timelines.
Maintain documentation in PLM (Program Central), following classification rules.
Create and/or supervise product specs, application specs, and packaging instructions.
Participate in PPAP preparation and documentation.
Organize and contribute to Design Reviews and FMEAs.
Your ideal background
Master's degree in Mechanical engineering or similar field
3 to 5 years of experience in a development or industrial environment (R&D, design office, laboratory, methods, or planning) is a strong plus.
Knowledge of material resistance and mechanical behavior.
Familiarity with cutting, molding, plasturgy, and product design principles.
Proficiency in CAD tools and experience with plastic and metal materials, including surface treatments.
Understanding of stamping processes and metallic transformation standards.
