Poste :

Position Description Summary:

• Make sure all University regulations and bylaws that pertain to student organizations and clubs are strictly adhered to.
• Act as the regular spokesperson for the University clubs and organizations with the University at large.
• Maintain a record of all student clubs and organizations , active and otherwise .
• Developing engagement strategies that address situations that are preventing students from being fully engaged in university
• Connect with the student population through social cultural , and other events and activities that enhance student experience on campus
• .Co-organize and carry out student events throughout the year .
• Coordinate all club work in close collaboration with the SLC , SAO, other student organization , and other stake holders.
• Prepare a Semester long activity report on student’s clubs and organizations work .
• Help with the daily administrative running of the SAO as needed.
• Working evening and weekends as needed
• Perform other tasks and duties as required


Profil recherché :

• Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in education, Management, Business, or a related field
• Preferred in : Training or certification in event management , youth engagement, or student development is a plus
• Type and Length of experience: Minimum 0-2 years of experience in student activities , student affairs, or related fields

Personal and Behavioral characteristics / IT skills

• Strong experience in student engagement and event coordination , with the ability to design inclusive and impactful campus activities
• Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills includes experience acting as a liaison between students and university departments.
• Provent administrative and organizational skills , including record- keeping, reporting , and supporting daily office operations
• Solid understanding of university policies, student affairs, and student organization governance.
• High level of adaptability and problem-solving , with a willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
