Investment Banking Analyst
Introduction to the position

You will work closely with experts in the field to deliver high-quality advisory services to a range of clients across industries such as education, healthcare or energy. Your role
- Take an active role in executing live transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, debt/equity advisory, and other structured deals, often involving significant cross-border exposure. - Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation, covering areas such as three-statement operating models, leveraged buyouts, accretion/dilution, discounted cash flow, public comparables, and precedent transaction analyses.- Lead transaction execution by preparing marketing materials, coordinating due diligence efforts, and drafting investment committee memoranda, working closely with internal teams and external parties.- Manage and execute the due diligence process with external advisors (lawyers, accountants, consultants), while performing detailed quantitative and qualitative research and analysis on industries and companies.- Support the team in client marketing activities, including building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients.- Participate in client meetings, attend industry conferences, and take part in external training sessions, ensuring adherence to all compliance and confidentiality requirements.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance (or a related field) from a prestigious academic institution.- Previous experience at a leading corporate finance advisory firm or investment bank.- Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.- Experience in analyzing financial statements and related data to assess historical financial performance and future outlook for client companies and prospects.- Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to develop detailed, integrated financial models and projections, as well as analyze the effects of proposed transactions on capital structure and cash flows.- Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail, and capable of working under tight deadlines.- A collaborative team player, adept at working with cross-border deal teams.- Demonstrates strong creativity and intellectual curiosity.

The Investment Banking intern at Majorelle Capital supports in financial transactions like mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of investment banking.
Your role
- Analyze corporate and financial data and reports- Build financial models and perform valuation analysis- Conduct due diligence and create reports and presentations- Prepare pitch books, offering memoranda, and transaction-related documentation- Research potential buyers, investors, and acquisition targets- Conduct macroeconomic, sector, and industry research- Update and manage client data- Contribute to project meetings and discussions- Maintain internal databases of comparable transactions and market deals- Apply relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and laws- Identify business development opportunities and communicate with the team
Your qualifications
- A business-related undergraduate degree in fields such as finance, accounting, or economics- Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint- Solid understanding and application of accounting principles (preferred) - Proven experience in financial modeling and valuation- Background in investment research and conducting due diligence- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment with minimal supervision
