About the Position

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University's AgroBioSciences (AgBS) program seeks a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to conduct cutting-edge research on soil biology, microbial ecology, and molecular biology. Main Responsibilities

Conduct independent and collaborative research on seaweed bioproducts' effects on soil biology, carbon, microbial diversity, and functional genomics
Apply molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, metagenomics, and transcriptomics to study soil microbial communities
Develop and optimize laboratory protocols for soil biology characterization and functional analysis
Utilize high-throughput sequencing technologies (Illumina, PacBio) to analyze soil microbiomes and interpret data using bioinformatics tools
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of soil scientists, biochemists, and ecologists
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Environmental Science, or related field
