The Aircraft Technician is responsible for performing maintenance tasks on Emirates and third-party aircraft and components in compliance with company procedures and regulations. You will work as part of a team under the direction and guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer within the relevant trade or cross-trade disciplines for which you are trained.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of aircraft, engines, and components and/or approved structural repairs in compliance with manufacturer procedures.
Ensure adherence to all safety procedures during fluid replenishment, aircraft refuelling, and aircraft systems charging or servicing as required.
Complete component replacements and other maintenance activities as directed by the immediate supervisor, including obtaining and interpreting technical documentation (AMM, IPC, CMM, SRM).
Support Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Approved/Licensed Technicians in troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications in accordance with job cards.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by minimising risks, reporting deficiencies, and ensuring clean, organised work areas free of FOD.
Contribute to team objectives and support continuous improvement initiatives through collaboration with colleagues.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in aircraft engineering
Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) or Graduate (12+2) in Engineering or a relevant discipline
Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation, or an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License
Minimum of two years of on-the-job training in an airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation
