About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to join Inyad's mobile development team. You will take ownership of architecture, design, and delivery of high-quality mobile applications while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with product and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design: Ensure best-in-class mobile application performance, stability, and quality across devices; propose architectural improvements and implement better alternatives through pull requests and code reviews
  • Product Collaboration: Work with design and product teams to provide feedback on designs, ensure edge cases are covered, and suggest new features based on codebase knowledge and industry insights
  • Code Delivery: Write and review code regularly, assist in triaging production bugs, and continuously evaluate new technologies to maximize efficiency
  • Mentorship: Act as a mentor to mobile engineers, raising team standards as the organization scales

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 5 years of industry experience in software engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java
  • Proven experience developing Android applications
  • Knowledge of architectural patterns including APIs, microservices, and efficient algorithms
  • Expertise in relational databases and schema design
  • Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
