Main Responsibilities

Evaluate, interpret, and synthesize experimental results from scientific literature
Conceive and design experimental approaches to study biologicals with high value or impact in the African context
Select analytical methods for measuring biological material and delivery mechanisms
Manage and analyze experimental data; lead writing of research reports and scientific publications
Supervise PhD and Master students, interns, and other personnel
Manage projects including budget, materials, equipment, and staff
Write research proposals for external funding and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
Maintain field and laboratory equipment and travel frequently to experimental platforms and farmer's fields

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Soil Microbiology, Microbial-Plant Interactions, or related fields
