About the Role
Altus Group is seeking a Real Estate Associate Analyst to join our Altus Global Service Center. You will work within a dynamic team gaining hands-on experience in commercial real estate analytics, data analysis, and asset management. This role offers exposure to commercial real estate dynamics, lease knowledge, financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and data analytics.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage periodic setup of work files including verifying and reviewing source data
- Support research, data collection, and ingestion of key commercial real estate data using multilevel data sources
- Ensure accuracy of data ingestion and analysis; review discrepancies and notify appropriate team members of issues
- Prepare and present lease level and financial exhibits in support of asset analysis
- Prepare accurate analysis of asset and market level real estate data
- Contribute to the maintenance and accuracy of internal data management systems
Key Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience in Finance, Commerce, Real Estate, or Economics
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Basic skills in creating financial models (Excel, Argus, etc.)
- Excellent research, quantitative, and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation
- Ability to understand and interpret real estate data including lease level data and financial statements
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with strong time management and integrity
