About the Role
Join Mastercard's Advisors & Consulting Services (A&CS) team as an Associate Consultant Intern for Winter 2027. You will collaborate within small teams to support strategic consulting projects across multiple industries, working with some of the world's biggest brands to solve their most challenging business questions. This internship offers hands-on experience in data-driven consulting, technology implementation, and client relationship building.
Main Responsibilities
- Work in small teams on strategic consulting projects across diverse industries including financial services, retail, restaurants, and hospitality
- Analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for clients
- Create clear and compelling presentations for internal teams and external clients
- Support problem-solving by structuring challenges and exploring solutions with colleagues
- Build client relationships to understand business needs and guide impactful strategic decisions
- Participate in volunteer, community engagement, and team-building activities
Specialization Tracks
You will be placed in one of five specialization tracks, with opportunities to work across tracks:
- Strategy & Transformation: Guide clients through strategic, tactical, and operational challenges to enhance performance, covering product development, marketing, customer loyalty, and innovation
- Marketing: Develop marketing strategies, lead campaign implementation, and evaluate results using customer, behavioral, and transactional data
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate or accelerated master's degree with expected graduation in Spring 2027
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis tools (SQL, SAS, Excel, Tableau)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated leadership in work or extracurricular settings
- Passion for business, teamwork, and rapid learning
- Commitment to integrity and diverse perspectives
