Your future role

This is a full-time, on-site role in Fez, Morocco. As Bid and Costing Manager, you will prepare, lead and manage all costing and pricing aspects of tenders, ensuring alignment with financial strategies and project goals.

You will work closely with Bid Managers, Finance Tender Managers and subsystem stakeholders to define cost structures, lead cost reduction initiatives and ensure robust cost commitments. You will also take care of tender cost estimations and project cost management, and support cost consolidation and variation order management.

Main responsibilities

  • Prepare quick costing during the pre-tendering phase using product cost databases and project execution insights
  • Define cost structures, target costs and pricing strategies with bid and subsystem managers
  • Lead cost estimation and cost improvement initiatives to enhance competitiveness
  • Ensure the accuracy and robustness of costing, including variance analysis and risk assessments

  • Coordinate costing analysis during design phases and contribute to make-or-buy evaluations

Profile

  • Engineering degree, business school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the industry
  • Experience in value analysis, product cost and cost models
  • Strong analytical skills, fluent English and comfort in an international, multicultural environment
