About the Role
TechBiz Global is seeking a bilingual Business Analyst to join a client team in the insurance/insurtech sector. This is a remote, full-time position requiring fluency in English and Spanish and availability during Eastern Time business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and tech teams to analyze business problems and propose solutions
- Plan and design simple to moderately complex business processes and system modifications
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; draft user stories and documentation
- Create test case scenarios and support business application testing, QA, UAT, and release phases
- Mentor other analysts and contribute to time estimations and procedural documentation
- Aid in understanding technical aspects of mobile and web applications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
- Experience in the insurance industry is required (health insurance or Insurtech preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, epics, sprints)
- Solid business analysis skills: facilitation, process mapping, UAT, requirements gathering
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Familiarity with system functionality, data integration, and process documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in health insurance (INS/LOMA/III)
- Technical writing experience
- Prior experience working for a tech vendor serving insurance clients
