Cloud Data & Software Engineer (AWS, Python)

Join Bertrandt Group as a Cloud Data & Software Engineer based in Rabat, Morocco. This is a permanent remote position combining cloud engineering, advanced Python development, and data analytics expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud solutions using AWS services including ETL pipelines, Step Functions, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Develop advanced Python applications with object-oriented programming principles and maintain code quality through version control and documentation
  • Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights and validate data quality through comprehensive checks
  • Communicate analytical findings and technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop dashboards and frontend interfaces using tools like Tableau or JavaScript frameworks

Required Skills & Experience

  • AWS cloud engineering with hands-on experience in ETL, Step Functions, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Advanced Python programming with object-oriented design and automated documentation practices
  • Strong data analytics capabilities including interpretation, validation, and quality assurance
  • Code versioning expertise using GIT or Bitbucket with workflow understanding
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, or related field
  • AWS certification or proof of completed training courses (preferred)
  • Knowledge of battery systems is beneficial
  • Experience with Tableau or frontend development in JavaScript (nice to have)
