About the Role

As Regional Contracting Manager for G Adventures, you will lead the strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management across the Middle East & North Africa region. You will oversee a regional buying team, drive operational excellence, and ensure vendor agreements align with organizational goals including sustainability and ethical practices. This role encompasses contract lifecycle management, performance tracking, cross-functional training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional purchasing plans that maximize cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards
  • Source new vendors, conduct RFPs, monitor market trends, and manage relationships to ensure competitive pricing and service quality
  • Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle including negotiations, renewals, and amendments aligned with social enterprise values and legal standards
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the regional buying team to achieve operational and performance targets
  • Manage regional travel budget, track expenditures, and analyze financial reports to identify optimization opportunities
  • Partner with Legal team to ensure corporate governance compliance and maintain centralized contract repository

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Travel, Buying, and Operations within the region
  • Proven track record negotiating large-scale contracts and managing complex vendor relationships
  • Deep knowledge of western and global tourism markets, competitor landscapes, and industry trends
  • Advanced proficiency with contract management systems, internal tracking software, and financial reporting tools
  • Advanced English communication skills plus fluency in at least one additional regional language
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with ability to manage conflicting demands and tight deadlines
