Key Responsibilities
Strategic
- Develop and implement commercial strategy for air freight product in Morocco
- Manage and develop service providers to support best-in-class service procurement
- Deliver best-in-class responses to RFQs and RFIs
- Achieve air freight financial targets and ensure fully compliant operations
Operations
- Develop and execute operational plans to achieve business objectives
- Drive operational efficiency and business performance improvement
- Support and guide sales operations teams in Morocco
- Monitor and improve departmental productivity indicators
- Develop excellent relationships with carriers, vendors, and local authorities
- Focus on digitalization and creative solutions for improved efficiency
Customer Management
- Support sales and customer retention through regular customer meetings
- Complete 8-10 sales and retention calls per month
- Act as key sponsor for at least 2 customers to grow business
- Provide pricing alternatives, routing solutions, and technical assistance
- Guide operations and sales teams on competitive pricing and timely responses
Finance
- Monthly review of Morocco P&L and productivity results
- Review and achieve planned product net revenue and yield targets
- Support air freight team in tactical business plan development
People & Compliance
- Provide training and guidance for team competency enhancement
- Identify, develop, and coach team members with structured development plans
- Promote compliance and serve as role model of integrity
- Implement compliance initiatives and required trainings
Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Implement new system changes and enhancements in air freight department
- Suggest system and process improvements
