Credit Controller – North Africa

About the Role

Join Hempel's growing Services team as a Credit Controller based in Casablanca, Morocco. You will manage accounts receivable, credit, collections, and financial tasks for our North Africa market, reporting to the Team Lead France & North Africa. Work closely with Sales, Customer Care, Finance, and international colleagues to ensure effective credit activities and deliver outstanding solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage collection tools (ERP/BI Portal) and monitor accounts receivable
• Contact customers regarding outstanding payments, follow up on payment plans, and conduct periodic visits with Sales
• Participate in credit review meetings and monitor credit limits
• Identify overdue accounts and potential bad debts; coordinate AR tasks with Sales and Customer Care
• Handle documentation for legal cases, cheques and post-dated cheques administration, petty cash management, and VAT data preparation
• Support Shared Service in Poland for cash management and Account Payable activities

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
• Relevant working experience in a similar credit control or accounts receivable position
• Fluent in English, French, and Arabic (written and verbal communication)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office package
• Strong self-organization, teamwork, and results-oriented mindset
• Customer-oriented approach with excellent negotiation and communication skills
