About the Position
The College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University seeks a postdoctoral research staff member with expertise in experimental and modeling studies of fertilizer dynamics in soils. You will contribute to research excellence in fertilizer experimentation and study the interactions between fertilizer dynamics and the water-soil-plant-atmosphere continuum using an integrated experimental and modeling approach.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments on different fertilizer formulations in soils
- Develop and apply modeling approaches in collaboration with research group members
- Prepare soil samples and conduct physico-chemical property measurements
- Analyze and interpret the dynamics of fertilizer formulations and their interactions across the water-soil-plant-atmosphere continuum
- Prepare high-quality scientific manuscripts for publication
- Mentor and supervise master's and PhD students
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in a field strongly linked to soil science, agronomy, environmental science, or related discipline
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with fertilizer experiments
- Demonstrated record of high-quality publications in relevant scientific journals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and/or French
