About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer at Staff/Lead Level to join our Information Security & Compliance team. Based in our Casablanca office, you will provide technical leadership across security architecture, cloud security, detection engineering and platform protection. Working closely with the Cyber Security Manager/Director, you will drive scalable security engineering initiatives and strengthen the security posture of our global software platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain security architectures, standards and engineering guardrails across cloud, endpoint, identity, DevSecOps, data and AI environments
- Lead security engineering initiatives and translate security strategy into scalable technical solutions
- Drive detection engineering and automation to improve incident response and platform resilience
- Design and implement security controls across software development and cloud platforms
- Lead threat modeling, risk reduction and secure-by-design initiatives
- Provide technical leadership across engineering teams and promote security standards through collaboration and mentoring
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, Cloud Security or Application Security
- Strong experience with security architecture, cloud environments and modern security engineering practices
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Azure, Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview or equivalent)
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering and security automation
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD security and secure software development lifecycle
- Experience with ISO 27001, NIST and security governance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills
- Professional level of English
Nice to Have
- CISSP, CCSP, SABSA or equivalent security certifications
- Azure Security, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel or related Microsoft certifications
- Experience in automotive or industrial environments
- Experience working with outsourced SOC providers
- Knowledge of TISAX and GDPR requirements
- French, German or Chinese language skills
