About the Role

Join the DCOE (Digital Center of Excellence) team at GE Vernova to work on structuring and preparing large volumes of raw data from multiple sources including IEDs logs, CSV files, and COMTRADE files. This data will enable advanced analytics, reporting, and the deployment of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Explore and analyze existing data sources from high-voltage equipment systems
  • Design and implement data processing pipelines to transform raw data into structured datasets
  • Use Big Data tools for data processing and optimization of data flows
  • Model and store data in appropriate relational or NoSQL databases
  • Document processes, best practices, and data structuring rules to ensure data quality and reusability
  • Participate in training and knowledge sharing sessions on high-voltage equipment, HMI, and IED systems

Required Qualifications

  • Final year student pursuing a Master's or Engineering degree in Databases, Big Data, Data Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, ETL processes, and data pipelines
  • Experience with Big Data tools and programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze heterogeneous data and propose optimal structuring solutions
  • Good level of French and English
