Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated FEM Simulation Engineer to support our interior simulation and calculation team. You will work independently on crash analysis and FEM calculations for interior components, contributing to vehicle development from concept to series production.

Main Responsibilities

Independent setup of load case-specific calculation models using ANSA, LS-DYNA, PAM-CRASH, Animator, and custom software tools
Execute crash analyses independently and interpret results with technical accuracy
Perform and validate FEM calculations for interior components including cockpit and seats
Document and present results, coordinating with development partners, customers, and project management
Develop optimization proposals in collaboration with team colleagues
Support assemblies throughout the entire development process from concept to series production

Required Qualifications

Completed technical or scientific degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or comparable field
Solid experience in simulation and development for cockpit or seating systems
Extensive knowledge of FE methods and tools, especially ANSA and LS-DYNA
Independent and structured work approach with strong analytical skills
Business fluent English skills
High commitment, communication skills, and service-oriented mindset
