Key Responsibilities

Coordinate influencing initiatives to ensure coherence and alignment across global, regional, member, and country office advocacy efforts
Monitor emerging global political, humanitarian, development, economic, and geopolitical trends affecting children
Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning of humanitarian advocacy work to ensure best practices and stakeholder engagement
Provide strategic planning and administrative support to global advocacy governance structures, including coordinating calls, drafting agendas, and managing action trackers

Essential Experience and Skills

Significant experience in policy development, advocacy, strategic influencing, or public affairs within international NGOs, multilateral organisations, government institutions, or think tanks
Strong understanding of global policy processes, international institutions, and geopolitical dynamics affecting children
Demonstrated ability to conduct policy analysis, synthesise complex information, and produce evidence-based recommendations for senior decision-makers
Experience designing and implementing advocacy and influencing strategies, including stakeholder mapping and political economy analysis
