Role Overview
We are seeking a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer to develop, configure, and maintain HIL environments for BRAIN ECUs. You will work on I/O channel setup, simulation modeling, and component/subsystem configuration while ensuring robust anomaly reproduction and troubleshooting capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain HIL environments for BRAIN ECUs
- Set up I/O channels, design I/O simulation models, and configure rest-of-bus simulation (SoftECUs)
- Configure component and subsystem HIL simulators
- Develop and verify HIL setups for anomaly reproduction and troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree (BAC+5) in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering from an engineering school or university specializing in embedded systems
- Experience: Proven experience in HIL engineering
- Technical Skills: MATLAB/Simulink expertise; knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet); familiarity with HIL simulation environments
- Soft Skills: Strong team-oriented mindset; good written and spoken English
- Optional: Knowledge of Body vehicle features; dSPACE toolchain experience
