About the Role
Join Siemens Healthineers as a Hardware Installation Engineer supporting the Western Region. This field-based position involves on-site installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of linear accelerators and advanced imaging systems for cancer treatment facilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation of linear accelerators and imaging systems with comprehensive quality assurance and operational verification
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex medical equipment and systems according to technical documentation and company guidelines
- Instruct customers on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols
- Serve as primary technical liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters, interpreting needs and facilitating resolutions
- Manage parts inventory, ordering, and spare parts kit replenishment for installations
- Complete detailed installation documentation and maintain accurate records in company information systems
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years related experience, or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in related field
- Professional experience with electronic and electro-mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of RF Energy producing devices and electronic cooling systems
- Proficiency with test equipment for verification and calibration of electronic equipment
- Basic networking skills for system integration onto customer servers
- Technical experience with PC-based systems
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 10 days followed by 4 days off throughout the year
