Your role
- Evaluate investment opportunities across multiple African markets and sectors- Conduct comprehensive market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking- Build detailed financial models, including DCF valuations, comparable company analyses, LBO scenarios, and projected investment returns- Support due diligence processes across financial, operational, and strategic dimensions- Prepare investment committee memoranda, valuation reports, and transaction recommendations- Monitor financial performance and strategic development of portfolio companies- Engage directly with management teams and shareholders on reporting and value creation initiatives- Track key performance indicators and identify optimization opportunities
Your qualifications
Education- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier business school, university, or related institution (Finance, Economics, Business Administration).- MBA graduates or current MBA candidates are encouraged to apply.Experience- Minimum 6 months of relevant professional experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance (internships included)Technical skills- Strong financial modeling capabilities and proficiency in Excel- Solid understanding of valuation methodologies and investment analysis frameworks- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail- Strong written and verbal communication abilities- Personal attributes and languages- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently- Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable operating in ambiguous environments- Interest in African markets and emerging economy dynamics- Fluent in English and French (required). Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage
