About the Role

The ProdOps Technician provides first-level operational support for IT infrastructure and manufacturing applications. This role is part of the 24x7 DTIT ProdOps team and is critical to maintaining service availability for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor IT systems and manufacturing applications using Zabbix
  • Provide 24x7 first-level support for incidents and user calls
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate incidents to second-level support teams
  • Identify recurring issues and report them to ProdOps management and L2 teams
  • Support computer room vigilance and compliance requirements
  • Provide first-level support for cyber security incidents and communicate major incidents in a timely manner

Required Skills and Experience

  • Technician or License diploma in systems and information technology
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT operations and production environments
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure and incident management
  • Hands-on experience with Unix and Windows servers, storage systems, databases, network devices, and manufacturing applications
  • Strong communication, escalation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (6h-14h, 14h-22h, 22h-06h) in a 24x7 on-site environment
