Laboratory Agent - Metrology and Calibration
Reporting directly to the lab supervisor, you will perform dimensional and functional measurements, maintain the metrology and calibration system, and support daily laboratory operations at TE Connectivity.
Key responsibilities
- Perform measurements according to customer and production drawings, supporting NPI, transfer, PPAP and serial production
- Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T and ISO GPS requirements; prepare measurement reports, layout inspections and measurement protocols
- Apply and maintain the metrology and calibration system in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 17025 and internal regulations
- Perform internal calibrations, review internal and outsourced calibration results, and edit and authorize calibration certificates
- Provide training to personnel on equipment and measurement practices
- Ensure proper working condition and labeling of measuring equipment, and coordinate with maintenance and suppliers when required
- Maintain 5S+1 in the laboratory and follow EHS and environmental protection regulations
Qualifications
- BAC (Technologic, Scientific or Professional) and BAC+2 (BTS / DUT) in Mechanics, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Electromechanics or Physical Measurements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a technical environment, ideally in a laboratory with measurement, calibration or metrology; beginners may be accepted under supervision
- Written English, training in ISO 17025, statistical skills, MS Office and SAP
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, precision, logical thinking and autonomy
