Job Overview

Supports logistics activities and procedures to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction and cost saving for North Africa operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deploy the regional strategy for transportation compatible with the GLOG & Business strategies
  • Set up and follow up with carriers KPIs, Dashboard & action trackers with daily tracking of operations and cost including OTD
  • Establish and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly reportings & reviews with carriers including North Africa team members
  • Establish weekly follow up with Business for new lanes creation and ongoing projects
  • Analyse existing flows/modes and seek optimization opportunities
  • Manage & control transportation costs, forecast & KPI processes for North Africa operations in collaboration with GLOG & Business partners
  • Manage in coordination with Logistics Quality the LPM's and transportation damages
  • Ensure the right setups for flows in SAP and close cooperation with Trade Compliance and Freight Audit Payment teams

Required Qualifications

Education: Bac+3 in Transportation Management, Economic Science and Management

Experience: Open to entry-level candidates

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of logistics, trade and compliance and operations
  • Analytical skills and project leadership experience
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural team
  • Good communicator at all levels in the business
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools
  • Fluent in English & French
