Job Overview
Performs routine and preventive maintenance activities at facilities and on manufacturing machinery for assigned areas. This role ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently through systematic inspection, repair, and documentation.
Main Responsibilities
- Record maintenance and repair work, malfunctions, and ensure compliance with organizational safety and maintenance policies
- Repair, reassemble, and install various equipment, machinery, plumbing, and carpentry using hand and powered tools
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to identify malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective solutions
- Complete all work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, repair logs, and related documentation to accurately reflect work performed
Required Background
Minimum 5 years of related work experience required. High school completion is mandatory. Vocational training or an Associate degree is preferred.
