Job Overview
Performs basic activities in routine and preventive maintenance at facilities and on manufacturing machinery for assigned area(s).
Main Responsibilities
- Recording maintenance or repair work malfunctions and ensuring compliance with organizational safety and maintenance policies
- Repairing, reassembling, and installing various equipment, machinery, plumbing, and carpentry using manpower and powered tools
- Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery or equipment to determine malfunctions and deciding on appropriate solutions
- Completing all work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, repair logs, and related documents to reflect work performed
Required Background
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience. High school completion required. Vocational training or an Associate degree is preferred.
