About the Role

Join Novo Nordisk Engineering (NNE) as Manager of Automation & IT Project Management, leading a department of 15 Project Managers delivering highly technical projects in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will work on some of the largest and most technically complex pharma projects in Denmark, using the latest technologies across Automation and IT.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a motivated team of Project Managers, ensuring high employee engagement and wellbeing
  • Ensure the right resources and competence mix are in place to support growth strategy and project pipeline
  • Work closely with Project Directors, customers, and Sales to support project delivery, business development, and new opportunities
  • Strengthen Project Management processes within AIT and drive continuous improvements
  • Support project execution and take on smaller assignments as a Project Manager when needed
  • Contribute to creating a positive and engaging working environment across the wider team of 50+ highly skilled Project Managers

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least four years of experience leading Project Managers and/or technical specialists
  • Background as a Project Manager
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Danish

Work Environment

The role is primarily on-site with physical presence at the workplace expected five days a week in Kalundborg, Denmark.
