Materials Planner - Supply Chain & Inventory Management

Materials Planner

Adient is seeking a Materials Planner to manage material planning, inventory control, and supply chain operations at our Tiflet, Morocco facility. This role is critical to ensuring efficient production scheduling, accurate inventory management, and strong supplier relationships.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain ERP system for all material functional areas including Item Master, BOM, ship-to locations, and inventory parameters
• Create daily production schedules and ensure production output is recorded and posted into the ERP system
• Review daily MRP supply reports, identify discrepancies, and take corrective action
• Perform daily cycle counts, reconcile inventory variances, and track component inaccuracies for root cause analysis
• Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding supply shortages, quality holds, and engineering changes
• Report daily on key performance measures including inventory valuation, cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and past due parts
• Achieve inventory valuation and inventory turn targets for assigned products
• Participate in HSE investigations, 8D processes, and ensure compliance with all safety procedures

Key Requirements

• ERP system expertise (Item Master, BOM, inventory management)
• MRP planning and supply chain analysis
• Inventory management and cycle counting experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of quality management and supplier communication
• HSE compliance and safety awareness

What You'll Do

You will manage material planning operations, maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate with suppliers and customers, and ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Your work will directly impact production efficiency and cost management.
