Role Overview
Lead scientific engagement with Medical Experts in neurosciences. Implement clinical and educational strategies, respond to unsolicited medical enquiries, and serve as a key medical resource within Novartis.
Major Accountabilities
- Engage with Medical Experts to educate on medical and scientific information; identify and map key accounts and opportunities for strategic support aligned with country strategy
- Develop and execute Medical Expert engagement plans to effectively prioritize and strategically engage stakeholders
- Respond to unsolicited requests for information from Medical Experts and serve as a medical resource to field colleagues
- Support Novartis clinical research programs, optimize trial execution, and provide scientific educational support to study sites in collaboration with clinical operations
- Facilitate Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) processes and report technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios within 24 hours
- Ensure compliance with Ethics and Compliance policies and achieve annual targets for medical activities
Key Requirements
Education: Medical, pharmacy (preferred), or life-science degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent)
Experience: Background in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or related scientific roles within pharmaceutical or healthcare environment; demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and project execution experience
