MSP Engineer, Network and Security (Rotating Shifts)

About the Role

BRIXIO is a Cloudflare Authorised Service Delivery Partner seeking an MSP Engineer to operate client Cloudflare environments during rotating shifts. You will combine reactive incident management with proactive engineering, detecting and resolving issues before clients report them while executing production changes under controlled processes.

Working Pattern

This is a rotating shift role operating a follow-the-sun model across Morocco and the Philippines:

• Early Shift: 09:00–17:00 Morocco time
• Late Shift: 15:00–23:00 Morocco time
• Weekend Rotation: Shared reduced rotation with compensation per Moroccan law

Shifts are managed through a published rota issued in advance. Each shift change includes a 30-minute overlap and written handover. There is no expectation to be reachable outside your scheduled shift.

Main Responsibilities

• Staff the client intake channel, qualify and triage incoming requests, and own first response within committed service levels
• Diagnose and resolve incidents across the Cloudflare stack (WAF, DDoS mitigation, rate limiting, bot management, CDN, DNS, TLS, load balancing, Zero Trust, Workers)
• Execute production configuration changes under formal change control with four-eyes validation and documented rollback plans
• Deliver proactive activities including security audits, false-positive analysis, cache calibration, DNS hygiene, and configuration optimization
• Analyse traffic and security telemetry using Cloudflare Analytics and GraphQL API to identify potential problems before they impact clients
• Maintain accurate ticket records in Jira and contribute to root-cause analysis following major incidents

Required Experience

• 3+ years in network, security or cloud operations
• Experience in managed services, NOC or SOC environments
• Solid working knowledge of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, proxies, caching and CDN mechanics
• Practical Cloudflare experience across WAF, DDoS mitigation, rate limiting, bot management, CDN and DNS
• Proficiency with Terraform, Git/version control, and scripting (Python or Bash)
• Familiarity with Jira Service Management and ITIL-aligned processes
• Confidence using diagnostic tools (curl, dig, traceroute, browser developer tools, HAR analysis)

Languages

Full professional fluency in both French and English is a hard requirement. You will handle incidents in writing and verbally with French- and English-speaking enterprise clients, including during high-pressure situations. Arabic is a significant advantage for supporting Gulf accounts.
