About the Role
Join SCOR's Group Reserving department as a Senior P&C Reserving Analyst, supporting the Central P&C Reserving Lead with strategic initiatives and operational activities. This position offers a key role in shaping the company's reserving strategy and managing worldwide P&C reserving activities across all dimensions including strategy, quarterly performance, regulation, compliance, and data modernization.
Main Responsibilities
- Support quarterly reserving closing and performance analysis (Actual vs. Plan, Actual vs. Expected) in coordination with local reserving teams
- Support regulatory compliance activities at Group level with regulatory bodies, auditors, and senior management reporting
- Design and monitor the P&C feedback loop, ensuring alignment between P&C functions and business performance steering activities
- Contribute to P&C Reserving strategy development aligned with group objectives, including resilience management and data/actuarial perspectives
- Coordinate P&C Reserving community activities including knowledge sharing, training, and transversal projects
- Support data and modelling automation, simplification, and modernization initiatives across the organization
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience as an actuary with P&C background, preferably in (re)insurance
- Strong knowledge of regulatory finance and IFRS 17 framework
- IT development experience with Python and VBA; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Good knowledge of (re)insurance P&L and financial statements under IFRS 17
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills, proactive approach, and ability to meet deadlines
