About the Role
Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mission-critical radio communications systems projects across the Middle East and Africa region. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of complex projects involving radio communications, cameras, access control systems, and software solutions, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-phased projects and manage work activities across Order Management, Engineering, Finance, and Customer-Facing technical teams
- Develop and oversee complete project plans using PMBOK methodologies, including schedule management, critical path analysis, budget tracking, and risk assessment
- Maintain full responsibility for project financials, revenue commitments, and margin goals while ensuring quality, cost, and time constraints are properly managed
- Communicate directly with customers and senior stakeholders through regular meetings and project reviews throughout the project lifecycle
- Recruit and manage project staff, overseeing reporting, administration, and team communication
- Travel to sub-Saharan deployment sites as needed (up to 35% of time) to support project execution
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of project management, program management, or engineering experience
- Fluent in English, French, and Arabic (written and oral) – mandatory requirement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of PMBOK project management principles and experience managing project budgets and variances
- Experience with at least one of: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction, or IT Networks
Preferred Skills
- PMP or PRINCE certification
- Customer-facing and influencing skills with strong attention to detail
- Financial literacy and analytical capabilities
- Ability to work in geographically challenging environments
