About the Role

Avatria is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our Services team. You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Commerce and Content systems for enterprise customers. This role combines manual testing expertise with automated test suite development in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough manual testing (functional, regression, and smoke) and document test results and coverage metrics accurately
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks
  • Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects with clear, concise reports to development teams
  • Collaborate proactively with development, product, and business teams to embed quality practices throughout the SDLC
  • Execute API testing and validate responsive and native mobile applications (iOS and Android)

Required Skills & Experience

  • Professional experience in software quality assurance for enterprise-level applications
  • Proficiency with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman or REST
  • Experience with responsive and native mobile application testing
  • Familiarity with test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • SQL knowledge for back-end data validation testing
  • Experience in Digital Commerce or Content Management domains
  • Familiarity with Commerce platforms (SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, commercetools, BigCommerce)
  • Experience with Content Management platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, Builder.io)
