Your Role

As a QA Engineering Intern, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities across manual and automated testing:

Manual QA: Run exploratory testing, regression passes, and bug reproduction across our public web app, internal backoffice, AI copilot, agent chat playground, and voice-AI stack. Write clear, reproducible tickets.
Test Automation: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for Next.js web and backoffice apps, shared component library, and Python and Node backend services. Raise coverage where it matters and keep CI fast and trustworthy.
AI Product Testing: Evaluate AI agents for correctness and safety, run simulated conversations at scale to catch behavioral drift, and build reproducible eval harnesses.
Voice Testing: Quality test voice agents for latency, turn-taking, transcription accuracy, conversational flow, and real-time voice failure modes.
Influence Architecture: Work with engineers to shape APIs, server actions, and module boundaries for testability by construction. Push back on hard-to-test designs.
Observability: Extend observability layers to see production behavior and turn incidents into durable signals like alerts, dashboards, and regression tests.

Your Team

You'll work alongside our CTO and both AI/ML and Product/engineering teams in a TypeScript monorepo (Next.js, React, Node services, AI SDKs, Pipecat for voice). Manual QA builds product knowledge; automation, AI evals, and observability work provide engineering reach.

Your Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Comfortable with careful, methodical manual testing and writing clear, reproducible bug reports
Curious about writing code, AI systems, and shipping products to real users
Familiarity with TypeScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, or Python is a strong plus
Interest in test automation frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end) and CI/CD pipelines
Curiosity about AI agent evaluation, prompt regression testing, and conversational AI quality
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
Strong product sense and eye for detail; thrives in fast-paced startup environments
