About the Role
Join TE Connectivity's Manufacturing Engineering Teams as a process leader for stamping, molding, and assembly operations. You will be an expert in mold tooling, die tooling, machining, and assembly techniques, driving optimization and standardization across manufacturing environments. This role bridges engineering and production to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp-up.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop innovative manufacturing solutions and drive patents and proprietary technologies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align product designs with manufacturing capabilities and ensure manufacturability
- Manage CAD design in Creo Parametric and PDM-Link; design pneumatic systems using SMC Pneudraw or E-Plan
- Lead technical workshops, feasibility studies, and prepare reports and quotations for manufacturing projects
- Oversee equipment testing, analysis, and documentation; coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on machine projects
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards; troubleshoot equipment and propose technical solutions
Your Background
- Engineering degree required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cable Assembly
- Proficiency in 3D design tools (preferably Creo, Catia, or SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of CAD, CAE, and industrial/quality engineering tools
- Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methods (DoE, FMEA, A3, DMAIC)
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel when required
