Role Overview

The Azure Technical Architect is responsible for delivering and implementing Azure solutions for clients. You will design Azure solutions on IaaS and PaaS, present solutions to clients in workshops and demonstrations, and manage end-to-end delivery working with other Architects and Consultants. You will mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create architectural designs based on customer requirements and deliver product presentations and demonstrations
  • Present designs and solutions to clients, ensuring architectural governance is maintained throughout delivery
  • Drive innovation by developing code base and automated deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Serve as Technical Lead for specific domains, providing advanced technical knowledge and training to others
  • Work on proposals and RFIs alongside sales and pre-sales teams; assist in recruitment for the team
  • Build strong relationships and demonstrate technical leadership to deliver quality, client-centric solutions using Microsoft technologies

Required Experience & Skills

  • 6+ years in cloud or infrastructure delivery
  • Proven experience with Azure IaaS (virtual machines, storage, networking, security) and Azure Backup & Recovery Services
  • Proven experience with Azure Governance, Azure SQL Databases, and Azure Security (Zero Trust, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure AD)
  • Proven experience with Azure Serverless, integration services, and Azure Containers (AKS, ACI, ACR)
  • Strong experience with Active Directory, Windows Server/Linux OS, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong interpersonal abilities

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Migration, and Data Migration
  • SAP on Azure experience
