About the Role
The Reservation Agent responds to all reservations and requests according to hotel standards while using sales techniques to promote the hotel's services. This position is based at Amanjena, a luxury resort in Marrakech inspired by traditional Moroccan architecture.
Main Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries on the same day and serve as a source of information for clients and business partners
- Receive, record, and process telephone and email reservations, including changes and cancellations
- Check room availability and rates, then respond to guest reservation requests with confirmation letters
- Identify guest requests, anticipate solutions, and coordinate with other departments to fulfill them
- Maintain confidentiality and data security for guest information while adhering to all departmental and hotel procedures
- Inform the Reservations Manager of irregularities, VIPs, and complaints immediately
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in Reservations, preferably in luxury hospitality
- Fluent in English and French
- Exceptional interpersonal and guest relations abilities
- Flexible, adaptable, with strong attention to detail
