Sales Operations Associate

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Sales Operations Associate to provide comprehensive day-to-day sales support and customer service for assigned accounts. You will serve as a critical liaison between internal teams (field sales, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing) and external vendors and customers, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Principal Responsibilities

• Process routine and smaller customer orders accurately and timely, reviewing purchase orders for accuracy, pricing, technical specifications, and unique requirements
• Resolve order discrepancies with customers prior to entry and manage sales orders in the Arrow ERP system, coordinating with shared services teams on complex issues
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer service requests including order information, RMA requests, credit status inquiries, and shipping requirements
• Maintain control of open backlog of orders, service requests, and RMAs from entry through billing, ensuring timely vendor shipment and accurate billing
• Research and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, freight, and tax codes
• Manage customer quote activities in alignment with customer-specific strategies and order management processes

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience (5 years for warehouse positions)
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Arrow ERP and Oracle systems)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and documentation
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work with close supervision and follow established procedures
• Proactive approach with sense of urgency in addressing customer needs
