Role Overview

As a Supply Chain Scheduler, you will manage inventory levels of raw materials and components, ensuring material availability to meet customer demand while optimizing supply chain operations.

Main Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Monitor Master Production Schedule (MPS) achievement, establish appropriate inventory levels for raw materials and components, and lead inventory reduction initiatives.
Supplier Performance: Measure Supplier Service Rate (SSR), develop action plans to improve service levels, and report daily on inventory status.
Demand Planning: Plan material requirements based on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning, validate and send weekly forecasts to suppliers, and ensure timely material arrivals.
Supply Chain Optimization: Attend logistics and purchasing meetings, support implementation of supply chain tools (Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, Milk run), and define inbound transportation plans.
Crisis Management: Identify blocking points, alert sales during crises, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure business continuity with supplier backups.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular contact with suppliers and internal departments, adapting communication methods and frequency to situation requirements.
