About the Role

Müller's Solutions is seeking a Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) based in Brussels, Belgium. You will collaborate across teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and configure Palo Alto Firewalls and Palo Alto Prisma Access, including monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Apply strong knowledge of BGP routing on Palo Alto platforms to enhance network security
  • Administer security tools such as Algosec FireFlow, Log Analyzer, and AppViz for security operations and incident analysis
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
  • Develop and refine organizational security policies, standards, and protocols aligned with industry regulations
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures across systems and applications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in a subject matter expert capacity
  • Proven expertise in security frameworks including NIST and ISO 27001
  • Hands-on experience with firewall management and incident response
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and address complex security challenges
  • Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
  • Proficiency in French or Dutch (in addition to fluent English)
