About the Role

Intetics Inc., a leading American technology company specializing in custom software development and digital solutions, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its team. This short-term position focuses on designing secure cloud infrastructures and implementing comprehensive cloud security solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and build resilient cloud infrastructures protected against security threats
  • Develop and assess cloud security solutions to secure systems, databases, and networks
  • Conduct security assessments and make recommendations to ensure appropriate controls are in place
  • Monitor and analyze logs, perform vulnerability assessments, and gain insights into security incidents and threats
  • Participate in shaping the company's security policies, procedures, and standards for cloud environments
  • Create technical and managerial-level security reports for cloud-based applications and infrastructure
  • Implement and test network and security disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
  • Monitor sensitive data usage and regulate access to safeguard information
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of data during transmission, storage, and processing
  • Provide support to end users regarding network and security-related issues

Required Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Information Security or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of general experience in the DevOps field
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in Information Security with proven focus on Cloud Security
  • Technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Proficiency with AWS services: IAM, Organizations, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, WAF
  • Clear understanding of current threats to cloud infrastructure and advanced knowledge of securing such environments
  • Background building and deploying applications to the cloud using Infrastructure as Code
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision and integrate well within a team
  • Capability to quickly learn new technologies in depth
  • Availability to work in CET timezone

Nice to Have

  • Expertise in DevSecOps methodologies
  • Code tools such as Terraform
  • Expertise in container security
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud
