Introduction to the Position
Cypher is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team of passionate entrepreneurs. The ideal candidate will contribute to financial analysis and strategy consulting for our client portfolio, supervise a small team, optimize processes and financial products, and contribute to the company's growth. Fluent English is a prerequisite for this role.
Your Role
- Financial Analysis and Strategy Consulting: Utilize financial modeling skills to provide in-depth analysis and strategic consulting for our client portfolio, ensuring alignment with IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and best accounting practices.
- Team Supervision: Lead and mentor a small team, fostering their growth and ensuring efficient workflows to drive productivity and accuracy.
- Process Enhancement: Develop and optimize financial processes, leveraging technology and tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribution to Growth: Actively contribute insights and strategies that aid in the growth and development of the company's financial products and services.
Your Team
You will join the Moroccan office of Cypher and report directly to the Financial Reporting Manager.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Financial Analysis, Finance, or a related field.
- CFA or CPA certification is highly desirable; background in private equity or venture capital is a plus.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with understanding of accounting best practices and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all financial analyses and reports.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Leadership abilities to guide and develop a team, improving efficiency through effective training and workflows.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Fluent in English to communicate with the team and clients.
